Lisbon Old Town Guest House is praised for its excellent location, particularly its proximity to the Cais de Sodré station, the train station, and the vibrant Mercado da Ribeira. Many guests enjoyed spacious and clean rooms, some offering lovely views of the river or the square. The shared kitchen with numerous utensils is considered a great asset; however, some light sleepers have noted potential noise from trams at night. The comfortable beds and well-equipped bathrooms also contribute to a positive experience.

wonderful location working air conditioning fresh towels
The location proved wonderful, I found it a short walk to Praca do Comercio. The air conditioning in the room worked WELL. I appreciated the daily cleaning and fresh towels. The service elevated my stay.
The walls seemed THIN, I overheard conversations sometimes.

faulty temperature control inadequate noise isolation
The temperature control in the shower was faulty. it fluctuated between very cold and scalding hot. the noise isolation was also inadequate. I could clearly hear conversations and other noises from adjacent rooms. i found this quite disruptive at times.
